Throughout his career, Mr. Steele has been involved with all aspects of project delivery, ranging from project conception and planning, to site assessments and infrastructure reviews, to detailed design and procurement, right the way through to infrastructure deployment and construction, testing, and commissioning services.
Through his work with a diverse portfolio of companies and agencies, he has developed a unique level of experience and understanding in the design and deployment of complex transportation, industrial, and security projects, where software and systems integration often play a pivotal role. He has been a key part of the planning stages of many large scale multi-disciplinary projects and has been recognized by his peers as a competent and innovative professional who has the communication skills and technical savvy required to develop leading-edge systems.
His project management experience is diverse and includes projects ranging from small and medium size design assignments, to $9,000,000 transportation projects, $14,000,000 security programs, and $52M industrial projects. Through this experience, he has demonstrated a natural ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams effectively and to foster an open communications environment.
Over his 20 year career as a professional, he has built many strong relationships. His exceptional communication skills have enabled him to effectively manage requirements and interests from multiple stakeholder groups and agencies, for which an astute understanding of context and a diplomatic approach are necessary in order to carefully navigate diverging interests.
Mr. Steele has extensive and distinguished experience in the planning and design of communications infrastructure, ITS, transit, port/marine, and commercial vehicle projects.

- Project manager or lead designer on 11 of the 16 projects for which PBX has won awards
- Involved in the design of the RTMC, City of Surrey TMC, PRPA JSOC, and other operations centres.
