Raj Atwal P.Eng.

Raj is a Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at PBX Engineering Ltd. He is also responsible for managing the firm’s Buildings Business Unit. Mr. Atwal is registered as a professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and Alberta. He has over 14 years of experience providing consulting engineering services to public and private sector clients. His primary practice areas include airports and marine port infrastructure, buildings and industrial facilities, and municipal infrastructure. He has experience with industrial, commercial, and residential buildings; educational, healthcare, and correctional facilities; water and wastewater treatment plants, military infrastructure, and airports and marine port infrastructure.

Mr. Atwal has expertise within a variety of technical areas, including, power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems; emergency/standby generators, power analysis/studies, and facility condition assessments; data/voice communications, integrated security and CCTV systems; PLC and SCADA systems, roadway lighting, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

As well as overseeing designs for quality and providing technical guidance, Raj has a very client centric project management style focused on responsiveness and customer service.
